About DungeonMind

DungeonMind is a solo fantasy RPG powered by an LLM Dungeon Master. No group, no schedule, no spreadsheets — just you, a character, and a world that remembers. Every session unfolds through text and choice: you describe what you do, the DM adjudicates, the dice fall where they may.

Mission

Tabletop roleplaying is one of the richest storytelling mediums ever devised, but it asks for a rare alignment of schedules, groups, and a willing Dungeon Master. DungeonMind exists to lower that gate. We build toward a future where anyone can step into a fantasy world on their own time, with an AI that takes the craft of DMing seriously — pacing, memory, voice, consequence.

The Story

Born from late nights and too many cancelled sessions, DungeonMind started as a prototype that asked a simple question: what if the DM never flaked? The answer grew into a narrative engine that tracks NPCs, remembers grudges, varies its voice by setting, and treats every session like a page torn from a novel that only you are writing. The project is independent, built by a small team that believes solo play is not a compromise but a different kind of depth.

What Makes It Work

The campaigns are hand-authored worlds with their own weather, factions, and idioms. The LLM Dungeon Master does not generate content from scratch — it plays within the rails an author set. The companion NPCs carry memory between sessions. The mechanics surface when they matter: a D20 roll here, a saving throw there. Everything else is kept below the waterline, so the story stays in the foreground.
